Born in October 2000, the Interscene agency was founded by managers of both Scene Plus and Gestion Logiscene, two companies that had already been working for over ten years in management of technical staff.

Over the years, Interscene has earned an enviable position and an excellent service reputation, becoming the official supplier of stage technicians to several theaters and concert halls in the city of Quebec —see Partnerships section.

Since its inception, nearly 400 self-employed stage technicians registered for reference services and Interscene is offering their services to more than
450 events and shows per year.

In 2003, Interscene has made by both the federal and provincial governments that stage technicians, offering their services through the agency, were recognized as self-employed workers. This gave a special status to the company, being the only agency giving rights to employment insurance for self-employed stage technicians.
